Ringing Workshops

WorkshopIn conjunction with the exhibition Ringing in St Augustine’s Tower, Slowfall Projects, with the generous support of Awards for All, are running a series of artist led workshops for members of the local community. Participants will be encouraged to learn basic technical skills and develop creatively and critically through responding to the artwork on display.These Workshops are ideally suited to 6 - 14 year olds though are open to all ages.

Please note that all children and groups must be accompanied by a responsible adult.

Location

All Workshops take place on the ground floor of St Augustine’s Tower, Adjacent to 354 Mare St. Hackney, London E8 1HV. All Workshops are free to participants, all required equipment and materials will be provided.

Make your own slides out of unusual materials and see how they react when they are projected.Rubbings Thursday 4th September 10am -12pm

Make rubbings of stones, bark and other textures and use these to make a picture.Electronics Thursday 4th September 1pm - 3pm

Learn to make a simple circuit that responds to light and can be used as an art piece
